Class offerings
Weave a Scarf in a Day! The November
6th workshop was a great success. The day started with twelve eager weavers-to-be
and ended with twelve beautiful handwoven scarves. A second session was
held on December 4th for a few extra weavers.
Exhibits & Shows
Felicitas, Joan, Suzanne, and Angela were part of the Jeruselum marketplace
for St. John's United Methodist Church vacation bible school, demonstrating
weaving and spinning in the "cloth shop."
Several members had pieces in Guilded Inspirations
III, on display at the Northwest Mississippi Community College through
November 30.
Jennifer
Sargent is a recipient of the 2005 Individual Artist Fellowship in Craft
from the Tennessee Arts Commission. Her work is featured in the exhibition
Contemporary
Craft in Tennessee May 19 - June 24, 2005 at the Tennessee Arts Commission
Gallery, 401 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville.

MGHW
demonstrated weaving and offered handwoven items for sale in the demonstrating
craftsman tent at the Pink
Palace Crafts Fair in Audubon Park, October 7-10, 2004. This was the
guild's 17th year as part of this fair.
